Sagentia is the originator and inventor of the core HD LED technology and will be the lead technical organisation on this project. Sagentia is a leading new technology and product development company which is at the forefront of solid state lighting technology. Many of the innovations and technologies which we have developed in solid state lighting are embedded in commercially successful products developed in conjunction with our clients including medical & surgical lighting, photodynamic therapy, retail display and industrial illumination systems. Our in-depth scientific, technical and engineering capability in the field of solid state lighting positions us ideally to play a key role in the Hercules project. In addition, we have significant in-house understanding of the solid state lighting market and have strong links with many of the key players in the lighting industry in general. We would therefore expect to play a leading role in the commercial aspects of the project including exploitation of the technology which will be developed.
In addition to direct fees for services for providing core technical and commercial input on the project we expect that participation will enable us to:
